The fields of color
I find the flowers dipped in dew
The grassy meadows
All wonders I wish to show you
Rainy streets, covered in blue
Everything old, yet beautifully new
The clock’s strike rings through
The city full of a life told true
Yet, I find these wonders within you
The ocean, the rain- in your eyes
awe of these colors- As I study your design
Your laughter is the breeze,
I want to hear when days are dim
Your touch reminds me of
Warmth when a fire’s lit.
All of you, I want to know,
The wonders you hold,
I can’t wait to experience
Wonders with the one I love.
