About the artist

Grace Tompkins was born in Lake City Florida. She lives in Lake City and works in Gainesville Florida. She graduated with her BFA at the University of Florida in 2025. In 2023, she participated in the Generative AI and the Arts AI Days competition and was awarded the conceptual award and audience’s choice award. Through the University Scholars’ Program Tompkins was sponsored to conduct a photographic research project in 2024. In addition to her artistic practice, Tompkins founded and managed her lifestyle and wedding photo business, Grace Trinity Photo since 2017.

Exhibitions include the 2025 BFA Show at the University of Florida, Shift at Pennant Place Gallery, the 2024 Student Juried show at the University of Florida curated by Jennifer Inacio, and the 2025 Student Juried show curated by Coralie Claeysen-Gleyzon.
