Hello, 2018

I remember right as the ball dropped I felt imeditate remission. It was the perfect ending for such a negative fatalistic year, in my case.

However, 2018 is a year I’m looking towards embarking on new adventures. To find pleasure in the most compelling endeavors. And also, to find peace with many things I found myself wrestling with a raging storm.

Many opportunites openned up this Autumn and  early Winter,  I was able to Pursue my love and skills of photography and start my business, thanks to my father’s guidance,  my mother and sister’s patience as I showed them the albums and albums of photos,  and  the family friends who allowed me to be honored with capturing their smiles and laughter in a click of a button.  Another opportunity was my book, through having a rocky period of time where panic washed over me like a rocky current, due to the trouble of “First drafts,” I found out that there’s a beauty to re-writing and learning through doing so.

Finally, to get to this blog’s actual topic, my resolutions.

Number one: “To extend and cultivate my vocabulary in writing and daily use.”

How I plan on doing so: Keeping a journal of new and fresh words, and finding ways to use them. Another step is to cut out words that “muddle” my vocabulary.

Number two: “To find joy and peace from little things, no matter how sour the moment decides to be.”

How I plan on doing so: This, being a tricky one will take lots of praying and exploration on the meaning of peace, in a way.

And, number three: “To explore and relish the journey”

How I plan on doing so.  I hope to find new adventures in every season, and this involves a little “Letting go”and trusting god.

There are my resolutions, what are yours? Comment what your planning to do, achieve, or even rest with in 2018.

Happy New Year,
